O QUE A EUROPA QUER
Os dois artigos abaixo indicados, ontem publicados no El País, e também nos principais jornais europeus, são a expressão mais correcta que se pode encontrar do modo como a Europa olha para a situação no Egipto e do que a Europa realmente quer da “revolta popular” do Egipto.
Do homem comum ao político, passando pelo intelectual orgânico do sistema europeu o que a Europa realmente quer é orientar, controlar, indicar a direcção da mudança. Mas esta escrita é também a expressão de uma certa impotência perante o sentido dos “novos ventos da História” cada vez menos dependente daqueles que dominaram os últimos séculos.
É o século XXI a irromper com toda a sua pujança…
